While they’re based in Ontario, Canada and operate in Kentucky, USA, Ever Tru Farms is a single team of sustainability-focused strawberry growers promising berries that are exceptional in color and flavor alike. Their pioneering hydroponic method of growing strawberries indoors allows them to supply delicious berries year-round, and their focus on transparency and commitment to sustainable agriculture means cultivating a trust-based relationship with the consumer as well as a high-quality product.

Website Design

Ever Tru Farms needed a website as bright and charming as its beautiful strawberries, so we set to work creating one with lots of bold, berry-inspired splashes of color and plenty of animations to catch the eye. With bees that fly on scroll, text sections that fade in, and berries floating along each side, we especially made sure to use the homepage to evoke the cheerful, wholesome attitude that a bunch of sustainably grown strawberries might inspire. Interior pages got new design layouts and chances for movement, including growing strawberry plants along the Indoor Berry Farm page and more fade-in effects on content throughout.

Room to Grow

In addition to plenty of style, the site had to deliver a lot of information about Ever Tru Farms – especially on the innovative and remarkable way they grow their berries, which most people visiting wouldn’t understand right away. By developing with the Umbraco CMS in mind, we were able to create a site that was easy to edit and easy to expand, giving Ever Tru the opportunity to change out text and photos, add or remove pages, or even add whole sections in the future, like one for delicious recipes using their strawberries.
